Home of Ulster Supermoto

Supermoto racing is a combination of both road circuit racing, and motocross.
Usually races take place on a circuit which is between 60-80% tarmac, and the rest will be a dirt section which may include jumps.

Supermoto provides the high speed cornering and braking thrills of circuit racing, but typically at a lower speed and ultimately at a lower cost.
But dont be fooled, the MX sections and the technical tracks require skill and make for very competitive racing.

Many motocross racers use supermoto as a bridge into the world of circuit racing.
Many of the worlds top riders honed their circuit racing skills on the supermoto track.

Riders race on bikes which are typically motocross machines, converted to run road wheels and large brakes. Though many manufacturers now produce bikes which are supermoto specific.

SupermotoNi Club is the main club responsible for running supermoto racing in Northern Ireland.
The club runs the Ulster Supermoto championship, which takes place over six rounds during the summer months.

The club has its own track on Moira Rd, at Nutts Corner, where most of the events take place.  The track has recently been extensively upgraded with new tarmac sections.

Other regular events take place at Nutts Corner Motorsport Centre,  Castlefin kart track, and our most recently confirmed new event is to take place in the Omagh Showgrounds.

The club meets once per month in Temple Golf Club (see calendar), and new members are always welcome, both racers and those who can help in other ways.
