IMPORTANT NOTICE!!!

Please note that due to riders not putting their entry forms in on time the Temple Club has decided to cancel this weekends DJ Memorial race meeting.
Only 29 entries were received by the Saturday 20th June deadline and no club can afford to run an event with such low entries. The Supermoto NI club hope you take notice of this as if this were a Supermoto NI event our club would have had to have cancelled it too!
It has been said before and the club want to emphasis it again, you MUST get your entry forms in on time, it will not only save you £10 on a late entry fee but it also lets the club know exactly how many entries they will have and could stop the meeting being cancelled because of low entries. The race secretary does not know how many late entries there will be and due to the rising costs of running these meetings, the meetings in future may well be cancelled.

The next Supermoto NI club meeting is at the Ballymac Hotel on 21st July 2009 at 8pm, this weekends cancelled event and how to hopefully stop this happening in future will be discussed at this meeting, any club member can and should attend as your opinion and thoughts will be required if we are to stop this happening in future.
This is your club and if you want to see Supermoto continuing in Northern Ireland please support your club by getting entry forms in on time and attending the club meetings to help ensure we have a Supermoto club next year!

On a slightly happier note, we have spoke to Nutts Corner and the track are willing to let us run a supermoto track day this Sunday using our usual track including the off road sections. It will NOT be a race meeting, there is NO prize money and entries ARE STRICTLY LIMITED!  It will cost £50 per bike and will run from 11am until 5pm. You cannot just turn up on the day and ride unless you have booked your place before Saturday 27th June 4pm, as we need to give Nutts Corner track exact numbers attending, to book a place call Mike Smith on 07971 267822. We will be working on a first phoned first served basis so get your entries in quick as there is not another race day now until 9th August.

IMPORTANT!!!! Please Read!

Ronan McDaid and Andy McCullough both had supermoto race wheels stolen on Sunday from their vehicles, we all know what an expensive part of racing these are and how specific these are to our sport. The thieves who stole them will have to try and sell them on somewhere so if everyone could keep their ears open and report anything suspicious.
Also on that note I would like to encourage you to ensure you please keep your vans, bikes and equipment etc securely locked up at all times during the race meetings as we don't want this kind of thing happening again in the future.

Help is always required to set up and take down the track for an event, so please don't go rushing off straight after the racing is finished as it is the usual very small band of people who do the work everytime. Even if just a couple of extra people helped out it would be done a lot quicker so please see Winston, Mark, Alan Farmer or Ed Johnston Snr on or before race day to help out.

On a better note now, the track at Aghadowey now has a chicane on the back straight as the picture shows below which will make for a more interesting race in May.
